David Barnes, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. In their most recent position at JB Poindexter & Co as a Commodity Manager, they began in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Freedom Solar, LLC as a Residential Energy Consultant from May 2022 to November 2022. From June 2021 to May 2022, they served as the Indirect Global Procurement - Regional Lead for the Americas at Sulzer.

Before joining Sulzer, David worked at Haas Automation, Inc. for six years as a Purchasing Manager, from February 2015 to June 2021. David was responsible for managing purchasing operations during this time. During their time there, David had the opportunity to enhance their global perspective by participating in an exchange program at Kansai Gaidai University from 1998 to 1999, focusing on International Business with an emphasis on Asia. After completing their undergraduate degree in 2000, David pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004, further developing their expertise in managing businesses on a global scale.
