Jim King has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jim started their career as a Financial Analyst at AIMCO, where they provided crucial analytics for executive decision-making and developed financial models for evaluating merger and acquisition activity. Jim then joined Qwest as the Director of Finance, where they implemented reporting systems to improve organizational efficiency and supervised a team responsible for FP&A and Sales Operations processes.
After their tenure at Qwest, Jim served as the CFO at IP5280, where they assessed new company ventures, built financial models, and established financial infrastructure. Jim continued their CFO role when IP5280 was acquired by MegaPath Corp, where they managed Sales Operations, KPI reporting and analysis, and budget planning.
Later, Jim joined BroadSoft as the Chief of Staff to the CMO, where they conducted financial reporting, analytics, and project management. Jim also managed financial reports for the CMO office.
Most recently, Jim became a Board Member at the Charles G Collins Foundation.
Jim King attended the University of Denver from 1988 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1986, they attended Colorado Mesa University. Jim obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix in 1998.
