Nadia Roan serves as a Senior Investigator at the Gladstone Institutes since November 2020 and has held various positions at UCSF Medical Center since 2012, including Professor. Prior to these roles, Nadia Roan was a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the J. David Gladstone Institutes from July 2007 to December 2011, where research focused on HIV transmission mechanisms influenced by natural factors in human semen. Academic training includes a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and another PhD in Infectious Diseases and Immunology from Harvard University, alongside a B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, completed between 1997 and 2001.
