Chris Schmidt has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical and RF engineering. Chris started their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at VSE Corporation, where they gained knowledge and skills in drafting, design, and government contracting work. Chris then moved on to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where they worked as an RF Engineering Student, focusing on RF design, equipment, and simulation. Chris then joined AT&T as a Specialist RAN Engineer, where they played a key role in network performance optimization efforts and demonstrated expertise in wireless communication systems and advanced RF transmission techniques. Currently, they are working at J.F. Taylor, Inc as an Electrical Engineer and has also served as an RF Systems Engineer. Overall, Chris has developed a strong technical background and valuable experience in the electrical and RF engineering industry.
Chris Schmidt attended Virginia Tech from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In 2015, Chris obtained additional certifications in LTE Performance Bronze and LTE Performance Silver from Award Solutions.
