Pamela Brannon

Network Administrator at J.F. Taylor, Inc.

Pamela Brannon began their work experience as a System Administrator at Integrated Engineering Concepts in October 2001, where they were responsible for monitoring systems running on various platforms, including OPENVMS and DEC2100's and DEC1000's. Pamela also provided support for Sun servers running Solaris and managed corporate IS infrastructure.

Pamela then transitioned into the role of Programmer and Senior Database Administrator at Integrated Engineering Concepts, where they analyzed software problem reports, designed software changes, and developed changes for an operational system. Pamela updated system software, converted system tools to web-based tools, and created shell scripts on a UNIX platform. Pamela also developed Java programs that allowed global customers to retrieve and analyze information from a central database. As a Database Administrator, they had in-depth knowledge of Sybase SQL, Sybase Adaptive Enterprise (ASE), Oracle 10G, and MS SQL Server. Pamela designed and created new databases, installed new SQL servers, performed daily maintenance and utility functions, managed database backups, troubleshooted database problems, and modified SQL scripts for system performance analysis.

Continuing their career, Pamela Brannon worked as a Senior Test Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation starting in August 2011. In this role, they supported the CTC team for Quality Assurance and Software Testing on the Assured File Transfer (AFT) program's Cross Domain Solutions (CDS). Pamela developed and executed test cases and procedures, identified and tracked software bugs and defects, and ensured the verification and validation of delivered software products.

Their most recent work experience was as a Network Administrator at J.F. Taylor, Inc, starting in November 2015.

Pamela Brannon pursued their education at the University of Maryland Global Campus. In 2009, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science. Additionally, during the same period, Pamela earned a certificate in Database Design & Implementation from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
