John Donoghue

Director of Design at J. Jeffers & Co.

John Donoghue started their work experience in 2006 as an Appraiser at Renzi and Associates. In 2011, they worked as an intern at JDS Architects, where they collaborated with a team on schematic designs and researched codes. Later in 2011, they became an intern at Bureau Spectacular, where they collaborated on designs and prepared drawings for architectural installations. From 2012 to 2018, John worked at Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, initially as an Associate and then as an Associate Director of Planning and Design. In 2023, they joined J. Jeffers & Co. as the Director of Design.

John Donoghue obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine/Studio Art from Denison University between 2002 and 2006. John then pursued further education at the University of Illinois Chicago where they completed a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from 2009 to 2012. Prior to their college education, John attended Grosse Pointe South, although the dates and details of their studies at this institution are not provided.
