Ryan Matthews

Ryan Matthews is the current Executive Director & Municipal Market Chief at J.L. Richards & Associates Limited. Prior to their current role, Ryan was with Jacobs from January 2018 to July 2018 as Vice President, International Operations Director, Operations Management and Facilities Services. In December 2017, Jacobs acquired CH2M. From March 2016 to July 2018, Ryan was also a Director at Hutt Valley Water Services Joint Venture, representing CH2M HILL / OMI Beca. Ryan held a similar role as Director for OMI Beca Joint Venture, representing CH2M HILL from March 2016 to July 2018. Additionally, Ryan has been a Member Board Of Directors for CH2M HILL Canada Construction Limited since January 2015.

Ryan's professional experience also includes roles such as Program Manager, Municipal Rehabilitation for the City of Ottawa from February 2003 to September 2006, Vice President for CH2M from January 2006 to July 2018, and Project Manager for CH2M HILL from April 1997 to February 2003. Their career began as a Research Associate for the Royal Military College of Canada from January 1996 to December 1997.

Ryan Matthews has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Queen's University, as well as a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the same school. Ryan is certified as a Professional Engineer by Professional Engineers Ontario, The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and Professional Engineers Ontario.

Ryan Matthews works with Michael Troop - Executive Director, Senior Environmental Engineer & Manager, Guelph Office, Georges Quirion - Executive Director & Director of Architecture, and Philip Reeve - Executive Director & Chief Civil Engineer. Ryan Matthews reports to Saverio Parrotta, President & CEO.
