Charles Bathurst-Norman began their work experience in 1996 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Barings. In 2000, they worked as a Graduate Intern at Robert Fleming. Charles then joined JM Finn in 2004 as an Investment Advisor, providing investment advice and transaction recommendations for private clients. In 2006, they were promoted to Senior Investment Manager, where they managed discretionary and advisory private client portfolios and worked directly with solicitors, accountants, and financial advisors. In their most recent role at JM Finn, starting in March 2020, Charles served as an Investment Director, managing £400m of discretionary portfolios and maintaining strong relationships with intermediaries to generate business development opportunities.

Charles Bathurst-Norman completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics (BA Hons) from Newcastle University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Charles then pursued a Diploma in Advanced Spanish at Universidad de Salamanca from 2001 to 2002. Prior to their university education, they attended Charterhouse School from 1992 to 1997, where they focused on Economics and Politics. In addition to their academic qualifications, Charles has obtained various certifications, including Cryptocurrency and Disruption from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in June 2021, Chartered Fellow from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in January 2011, Chartered Wealth Manager from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in June 2006, Securities Institute Diploma (Private Client Wealth Management - Distinction) from CISI in June 2006, and CISI Level 3 Certificate in Investments (Securities) from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in April 2004.
