Chris Packwood

Chris Packwood is an experienced Senior Engineering Manager at Murphy since July 2025 and actively serves as the Midlands Deputy Chair and Professional Development Network Chair at The Pipeline Industries Guild. With a strong background in the gas sector, previous roles include Workshop & Calibration Lab Manager, Project Delivery Engineer, and Network Supervisor at Cadent Gas Limited from April 2017 to July 2025. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Pressure Control and Pipelines Engineering Trainee at National Grid from September 2015 to April 2017. Chris Packwood holds an Executive MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School (2024-2026), a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Brunel University of London (2021-2023), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Derby (2018-2020), along with a Foundation Degree in Engineering and Physical Sciences from the University of Nottingham (2014-2015) and is pursuing a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence.
