John Kinirons

John has worked in various executive roles in the construction industry over the past ten years and possesses strong credentials in strategy, business development, sustainability, and governance.  

At Murphy, John leads the Strategy and SHES functions across the business. He works with the CEO and other Executives to set and drive the medium to long-term strategies of the business and oversees our business development, work winning, and marketing and communications activities. With respect to SHES, this involves taking the lead for Safety, Health, Environmental, Sustainability and Quality Assurance, managing the SHES team, embedding SHES leadership in Murphy, setting SHES standards and expectations, and continuously monitoring performance.  An experienced leader, John has a proven track record of driving change and delivering results in the infrastructure and energy markets. He is also a chartered civil engineer and health and safety professional.
