J.P. Licks Homemade Ice Cream Cafe
Nina Shah is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in both the culinary and educational sectors. Currently serving as a Shift Supervisor and Ice Cream Scooper at J.P. Licks Homemade Ice Cream Cafe since June 2023, Nina previously interned at Brigham and Women's Hospital under cardiologist Dr. Carolyn Ho, focusing on genetic cardiomyopathy and cardiovascular imaging. As an Engineering Curriculum Developer for the Greater Boston STEM Program, Nina played a key role in developing and enhancing engineering curricula, while also volunteering as an Engineering Instructor to teach students in the Boston area. Nina participated in a Chemistry Research Academy at the University of Pennsylvania, furthering education in chemistry research. Additional experience includes front-of-house operations at The Pressed Cafe. Nina Shah is currently pursuing education at Emory University with a prior academic year at Boston University and has completed studies at Milton Academy.

Stop by for your morning coffee or a specialty cafe drink from our full espresso bar. We've been small-batch roasting our coffee beans in Jamaica Plain since 1999. Complete your morning with something from the breakfast menu like a hot oatmeal, egg and cheese sandwich, or a savory croissant. Having a party? Hand packed ice cream cakes are available in sizes that serve 6 to 100. Stock cakes are available for quick pickups, or special order your favorite flavor with just 48-72 hours' notice!
