Dawn Klein

Dawn is a Health Systems Specialist Senior with more than a decade of experience working with the VA. She has supported the Veterans Health Information Exchange (VHIE) program, with a focus on consumer health informatics to empower patients to access and use their own health record information on various research and quality improvement projects. She is the VHIE program office subject matter expert on the Joint HIE patient registry and patient matching workflow processes which includes supporting requirements development, workflow analysis, and user acceptance testing. She is engaged in strategic planning, policy development/ improvement, and business implementation support for the VHIE program. She holds a Master of Social Work degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Health Informatics.
