Anna Omura

Anna Omura is an accomplished finance and operations professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently, Anna serves as the Associate Director of Finance and Operations at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where responsibilities include overseeing financial and grants operations, developing policies to enhance practices, and managing reporting on grants and annual finances. Prior experience includes roles as Program Manager at Akamai Technologies, Assistant Director at the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT, and VP of Licensing at the Good Deed Foundation. Anna's early career involved significant contributions as a Natural Resource Management Extension Agent with the Peace Corps and as Co-Founder of Breaking the Mold Candle Co. Academically, Anna holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Finance from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Boston University.
