Kara Brown

Kara Brown currently serves as the Honors Curricular Coordinator at UCLA, where responsibilities include managing the USIE program and coordinating honors course enrollment. With extensive experience in education and public engagement, Kara has held various roles including General Public Gallery Docent at the J. Paul Getty Trust, where facilitation of workshops and development of virtual sessions occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Kara is the Continuing Education Unit Manager for the Save Ancient Studies Alliance and previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Educational background includes a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Washington and advanced degrees in History from California State University, Northridge.
