Laura Cogburn

Laura Cogburn serves as the Head of Grants Administration at The Getty Foundation since January 2017, following a substantial tenure at the J. Paul Getty Trust from 2000 to 2016, where roles included Senior Grants & Information Analyst and Program Associate. Prior experience includes a position as a Visiting Writer/Editor at Cornerstones Community Partnerships in Santa Fe, NM, and as a Grant Writer focused on Community Development for the Wight Art Gallery and Grunwald Center at UCLA. Laura Cogburn holds a BA in Art History from Scripps College, an MLIS from San Jose State University, and has attended the University of Southern California for additional education, contributing to a strong background in arts administration and grant management.
