Justin Sperrazza

Justin Sperrazza has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Justin began their career at TVA in 2009, where they served as a Contract Analyst, managing a $1.4 billion fuel contract portfolio and identifying buy-out opportunities to minimize costs and optimize utilization. This resulted in cost savings of approximately $3.5 million for TVA. Justin then transitioned to the role of Natural Gas Scheduler, where they were responsible for scheduling natural gas for power generation. In 2013, they became an Asset Manager, focusing on providing commercial and contractual support for gas-fired generation sites. Justin played a key role in negotiations and management of contractual agreements, leading to savings of around $1.5 million in six months.

In 2015, Sperrazza joined J-POWER USA as Director of Asset Management, where they were responsible for optimizing their generation fleet primarily composed of natural gas-fired facilities. Justin developed and maintained operational and business procedures, managed budgets and contracts, and ensured financial obligations were met. In 2018, they were promoted to Sr. Director of Merchant Operations, where they focused on energy and ancillary bidding, fuel management coordination, contract management, and strategy development. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Commercial Operations, overseeing the company's commercial operations.

Justin Sperrazza obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Finance, completing their studies at the same university from 2010 to 2013.
