Kevin Miller has extensive work experience in various roles within the energy industry.
From 1993 to 1998, they worked as a Field Engineer at HB Zachry.
At Black & Veatch, they held multiple positions, including Director of Engineering / Project Manager, Project Manager - Engineering, Benchmarking and Feedback Manager, Construction Engineering Manager, Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, and Startup Manager. In these roles, they managed various engineering and construction projects, developed procedures for project closeout data management, and coordinated startup activities.
Miller then worked as a Senior Project Manager at SunCoke Energy, where they oversaw the construction and operation of coke plants and cogeneration facilities.
Kevin joined Middough Inc. in 2016 as a Major Projects Manager and later became a Senior Major Projects Manager. In these roles, they served as the point of accountability for communication with clients and ensured project requirements were met.
Currently, Miller is employed at J-POWER USA. Kevin started as the Senior Director of Engineering and Construction, then transitioned to the role of Sr Director of Jackson Generation. Kevin was subsequently promoted to Managing Director - Construction and Asset Optimization and is currently serving as the Vice President of Asset Management, Operations, and Construction. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing capital projects, execution, cost control, and other aspects of the company's operations.
Kevin Miller attended Kansas State University from 1986 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science (BSAS).
