Matthew Uber

Matthew Uber has extensive work experience in the finance and renewable energy sectors. Matthew is currently working as a Senior Finance Manager at J-POWER USA, where they oversee the financial operations of several energy plants across the country. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Invenergy LLC, where they held multiple roles, including Associate Asset Manager, Associate in Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Analyst in Treasury and FP&A, and Financial Analyst in Structured Finance. In these positions, they were responsible for budgeting, cash management, cash flow forecasting, FX trades, financial modeling, and deal team experience in debt and tax equity transactions. Before joining Invenergy, Matthew worked as a Consultant at the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, where they advised German enterprises on market entry strategies in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. Matthew also gained teaching experience as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame and as a Seminar Leader at the university's Center for Social Concerns. Additionally, Matthew has interned at the Isla Mujeres Ethnographic Field School, where they conducted research and assisted with tour operations in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Matthew also had a Sales & Marketing Internship at Laird Plastics.

Matthew Uber's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. Matthew also studied Economics and German Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. In addition, they attended the Isla Mujeres Ethnographic Field School where they focused on Microeconomics and Environmental Anthropology.
