Sarah James

Director Of Hospitality at J. Rieger & Co.

Sarah James has a diverse work experience in various roles. Sarah started their career as a Layout Designer-Intern at Reader's Digest in 2007. Sarah then worked as a Social Media Associate, Editorial-Digital and later as a Digital Marketing Associate, Taste of Home at Reader's Digest from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they also worked as a Part Time Event Assistant at BidPal in 2013. Sarah then joined California Olive Ranch as a Marketing Associate, where they executed trade show and consumer events, and revamped the company's digital and social strategy from 2013 to 2014.

In 2014, Sarah worked as an Evening Dining Room Supervisor at Vineyard Golf Club before joining Lure Restaurant Group as part of the Human Resources team. At Lure, they processed payroll, managed benefits, led recruiting efforts, and trained employees from 2015 to 2015. Sarah then worked as a General Manager at Baileys Restaurants, where they spearheaded the operation of a $1.3 million restaurant and identified training needs for employees from 2016 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2018, Sarah worked as a Server at Hamilton Hospitality before joining 21c Museum Hotels as a Restaurant Manager. At 21c Museum Hotels, they managed and lead the Front of House team, developed special restaurant initiatives, collaborated with a PR firm for marketing, and managed digital marketing campaigns.

Most recently, Sarah has been working at J. Rieger & Co. as the General Manager - Hospitality and Director of Hospitality.

Sarah James attended Marquette University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
