Dave Melchers

Dave Melchers is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in CIO roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at J.S. Held LLC since 2023, Melchers previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Chief Information Officer & Chief Information Security Officer at Triton Partners from 2019 to 2022, where responsibilities included reporting to the portfolio company CEO. Prior to that, Melchers was with Gartner from 2012 to 2019 as Group Vice President of Executive Programs, serving as an Executive Coach to CIOs and CISOs. Melchers also served as Global CIO at Arthur J. Gallagher from 2006 to 2012, leading the transformation of the company's IT infrastructure, and as CIO & Senior Vice President of Database Marketing & Analytics at GE Capital from 2000 to 2005, focusing on efficiencies and compliance. Melchers holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, respectively.
