Theresa Chimento

Theresa Chimento, MPH, is the Vice President and Central and East Regional Lead for Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) at J.S. Held LLC since October 2016, with prior experience as an Environmental Specialist IV and Southcentral Regional Lead at the same company. Theresa previously worked at U.S. Health and Environmental Liability Management, LLC as an Environmental Specialist from June 2007 to October 2016, managing projects in industrial hygiene, environmental consulting, safety, and disaster response. Certifications include Asbestos Inspector, Contractor Supervisor, and Project Designer from LDEQ and MDEQ, along with licenses as a Mold Assessor in Florida and Texas. Additional experience includes roles with the USDA Forest Service during major natural disasters and various positions in arts and administrative settings. Theresa holds a Master of Public Health in Disaster Management from Tulane University and a BA in Music from the University of Evansville.
