Spyros Marinis

Spyros Marinis, CFA, currently serves as VP of Investment Suitability at J. Safra Sarasin, focusing on regulatory project implementation, sustainability requirements for investment advisory, and investor protection topics. Previously, at Credit Suisse, Spyros held multiple VP roles, including Head of Global Product Risk Classification, where responsibilities included coordinating PRC rating production and managing regulatory compliance regarding investment suitability checks. Spyros has a background in Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) modeling and market risk management, with earlier experiences at UBS Investment Bank as a Market Risk Analyst and Business Analyst, as well as risk assurance consulting at PwC. Academically, Spyros holds an MSc in Management, Technology & Entrepreneurship from EPFL and an MEng in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
