Sphr® Leann McKune

Leann McKune, SPHR®, has over 20 years of experience at J.W. Speaker Corporation. Starting as an HR Generalist in 1999, they progressively advanced their career within the organization. From 2006 to present, they have held the role of Director of Human Resources, overseeing strategic HR initiatives across three manufacturing facilities and managing the HR team. Leann is particularly passionate about organizational development and enjoys facilitating the growth and skill development of associates. Prior to their current role, they worked as an HR Manager from 2006 to 2012.

Leann McKune, SPHR®, obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, completing their studies from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their degree, Leann has acquired several certifications in the field of HR. In January 2014, they obtained the SPHR® certification from the HR Certification Institute. Leann further pursued the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, which they achieved in December 2015. Leann also holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification, which they obtained from SHRM in December 2015.
