Kristen Schmidt

Kristen Schmidt is an experienced professional in the distillation and beverage industry, currently serving as Senior Manager for Boiler, Byproducts, and Continuous Improvement at Jack Daniel Distillery since May 2022, focusing on continuous improvement management. Prior to this role, Schmidt worked as Distillery Manager at Old Forester Distillery and held several positions at Jack Daniel Distillery, including Production Manager for Bottling and Distilling as well as Processing Manager. Experience also includes serving as Production Manager at Woodford Reserve Distillery, concentrating on the safety and quality of operations in triple pot-still distillation and maturation. Kristen began a career at Brown-Forman as a Process Engineer, specializing in experimental design and spirits processing. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Louisville.
