Abdullah Adeeb

CTO at Jack Health

Abdullah Adeeb has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as CoFo/CEO at AppGen Studio in 2017. Here, they worked with a multidisciplinary team to provide various digital product services, including product strategy, marketing, UI/UX design, and software solutions. Abdullah also played a key role in building a medical CRM platform that was HIPAA compliant and had functionalities such as workflow automation, telehealth, patient communication, scheduling, and appointment booking.

In 2018, Abdullah worked as an IT Solutions Design Specialist and Tech Lead at TD, where they utilized their expertise to design IT solutions. Later in the same year, they joined Manzil as a Solution Architect/Tech Lead, where they continued to contribute to technical leadership and solution architecture.

Abdullah's career also includes roles at prominent companies such as IBM and BlackBerry. At IBM, they worked as a Mobile/Hybrid Software Developer and later as a Software Automation Engineer. During their time at BlackBerry, they served as a Software Test Automation Associate.

In 2015, Abdullah served as a Technology Consultant for the Canadian branch of Roof4Refugees, an NGO. Abdullah played a vital role in implementing technological solutions, establishing a digital presence, and streamlining workflows with an integrated ticketing system.

In 2016, Abdullah co-founded Pilly and held the position of CTO. Abdullah played a pivotal role in developing the company's technology and overseeing its growth until 2019.

During their tenure at Jack Health, starting in 2019, Abdullah served as CTO and was the first hire for building an e-commerce platform for healthcare. Abdullah'scontributions led to significant revenue growth and required end-to-end automation and integration across multiple teams.

Lastly, in 2019, Abdullah became the CTO of Cover Health, where they built a telehealth service in response to the pandemic lockdown. The service has served over 250k patients to date.

Abdullah Adeeb completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University in the years 2010 to 2015. Abdullah also obtained the Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in November 2017.
