Mark Farag

Undergraduate Transfer Scholar at Jack Kent Cooke

Mark Farag is an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Launch Engineer intern at SpaceX, Mark has contributed to the design of a new stage two aft fixture, enhancing efficiency. Additional experience includes roles such as Quality Engineering Intern at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Engineering Systems Inc., where Mark worked on safety and quality improvement projects. Mark also engages with the Black Students in Aerospace organization, facilitating connections between members and aerospace companies, and has worked in various positions at the University of Michigan Athletics and University Productions. Previously, Mark held leadership roles at Amazon, managing sorting operations, and earned an Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation.
