Lisa Peers has extensive experience in communications and marketing roles. Lisa has also worked as a Creative Writing Instructor at The Community House and as an Internal Communications Specialist at Blue Shield of California. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at Bowne Business Solutions, overseeing strategic programs and managing customer-service training.

Lisa Peers attended Harvard University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a BA, magna cum laude, in American History & Literature. Lisa later attended The A.C.T. Conservatory from 1992 to 1996, earning an MFA in Acting. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
