Shirka Shuriye

Shirka Shuriye is a seasoned professional in program management and outreach, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Program Partnerships and Outreach at Jack.org since April 2021. In this role, Shirka has successfully overseen the planning and execution of youth mental health conferences across Canada, coordinating logistics for over 200 participants at each event. Previous experience includes managing teams and collaborating on program development at Jack Talks and Jack Chapters, as well as positions at Wheelchair Basketball Canada and the NBA during a high-profile event. Shirka's background also includes operational roles at the TORONTO 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games and marketing assistance at UNC Greensboro. Shirka holds a Bachelor of Sport Management from Brock University, completed in 2014.
