Erwin Montgomery, PhD

Erwin Montgomery, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and job titles. Erwin has worked as a Learning Experience Designer at Jackrabbit Learning Experience since 2023 and as a Contributing Writer at WFMU since 2019. In addition, Erwin has worked as a freelance editor and writer since 2018, focusing on developmental and substantive editing. Erwin has also previously worked as an Instructional Designer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Mary Baldwin University and a Contract Instructional Designer at LIM College.

Erwin has also served as a Learning Experience Designer (Network) at Northeastern University from 2019 until 2022 and as an Instructional Designer at E-Directives from 2021 to 2021. Erwin has also previously served as a Policy Writer for Administration & Finance at Rhode Island College and as a Chief Editor & Content Strategist at LaserAway. Erwin started their work as a Senior Editor at The New Inquiry in 2016. Erwin Montgomery, PhD earned a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's Degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) all from the University of Arizona. In 2013, Montgomery completed an independent study program focused on Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) at the Greenville Neuromodulation Center. Erwin also attended Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis, MO for their high school education. Montgomery also holds a certification in Content Marketing from the National Taskforce on Continuing Education.
