Katie Dotson

Katie Dotson, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Katie started their career at Eyemax Optical in 2007, where they served as an Office Administrator responsible for managing a multi-location Optometry practice. Their duties included training, billing, payroll processing, recruitment and selection, staffing, marketing, and budgeting. From 2009 to 2010, Katie worked at AbellEyes as an Administrator, overseeing a multi-location Ophthalmology practice in Lexington, KY. Their responsibilities included training, recruitment and selection, payroll processing, benefits administration, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining provider credentials. Since 2011, Katie has been employed as a Human Resources Director at Jackson Energy Cooperative, where they continue to utilize their skills in training, recruitment, and selection.

Katie Dotson, SHRM-CP, has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Services from Indiana Wesleyan University. Katie completed their MBA program from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Services Administration from Eastern Kentucky University, which they completed between 2005 and 2007.

In addition to their academic degrees, Katie Dotson has also earned the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in July 2010.
