Barbara Fonte

VP, Population Health at Jackson Health System

Barbara Fonte is the current Vice President of Population Health at Jackson Health System. Barbara has previously served as the AVP Business Development and Strategic Operations International Medicine Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and as the Corporate Director Planning and Program Integration at Jackson Health System. In their current role, Barbara is responsible for the development and implementation of population health initiatives that improve the health of the community served by Jackson Health System. Barbara has been a strong advocate for improving access to care for underserved populations, and has developed innovative programs that have improved the health of thousands of people in South Florida. Barbara is a passionate leader who is committed to making a difference in the lives of others, and they will continue to be a driving force in improving the health of their community.

Barbara Fonte attended Southwest Senior for their high school diploma. Barbara then went on to Florida International University for their Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and Management. Lastly, they attended Barry University for their Master of Science in Health Services Administration.
