Jennifer Piedra

Jennifer Piedra is a communications and outreach professional who has worked in the field for over fifteen years. Jennifer began their career as a reporter and intern for The Denver Post and The Miami Herald, where they covered a variety of topics including municipal governments, breaking news, and feature stories. In their current role as AVP of Communications & Outreach at Jackson Health System, Jennifer is responsible for managing the organization's internal and external communications, as well as community outreach initiatives. Through their work, they strive to provide accurate and timely information to the public while also promoting the health system's mission of providing quality care to all.

Jennifer Piedra has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from Florida International University and a Masters in Communications from Florida State University.
