Lamar Bailey

Lamar Bailey has had extensive work experience in the cybersecurity field. Lamar currently holds the position of VP of Security at Jackson Healthcare, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at HelpSystems as the Senior Director of Cybersecurity from 2018 to 2022. In this role, they led the research, development, and implementation of cybersecurity strategies, collaborated with customers, and promoted the company's research and content. Before that, they worked at Tripwire / Formerly nCircle as the Senior Director of Engineering from 2012 to 2018, managing multiple engineering teams and overseeing various projects. Lamar also has experience working at IBM Internet Security Systems as an Engineering Manager for Intrusion Prevention Appliances (IPS) and as an Engineering Operations Manager for X-Force. Furthermore, they have held positions at Internet Security Systems, Harbinger, and Hayes Microcomputers, contributing to quality assurance and product support.

Lamar Bailey attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 1991 to 1995, where they received a degree in Electrical Engineering (EET).
