Director Of Precision Oncology Clinical Education at The Jackson Laboratory

Kate Reed has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kate started their career as a Genetic Counselor at Johns Hopkins University in 2003. Kate then joined NCHPEG as a Project Director in the same year and worked there until 2013. In 2013, they transitioned to The Jackson Laboratory as Director of Clinical Education and later became the Director of Precision Oncology Clinical Education in 2022. Kate continues to hold this position.

Kate Reed earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carleton College between 1993 and 1997. Kate then pursued a Master's in Public Health Genetics at the University of Washington from 2000 to 2002. Finally, from 2003 to 2006, Kate obtained a ScM degree in Genetic Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University.
