Jessica L. Liss is Office Managing Principal of the St. Louis, Missouri, office of Jackson Lewis, P.C.

As a seasoned trial lawyer, Jessica regularly represents employers in state and federal courts, conducting trials to verdict. She also has extensive experience in federal and state appeals courts and represents employers before various state and federal agencies’ administrative law judges and mediators.

Jessica has been based in St. Louis her entire career and represents clients in various capacities across the country.

Jessica provides on-going legal support and counsel on a daily basis for her clients. She routinely provides training to managers, supervisors and staff in all areas of employment law, including, but not limited to, supervisor training, sexual and racial harassment prevention, disciplinary practice, documentation policies, safety and disability management. Jessica counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, handbooks and policies. She represents employers in prosecuting and defending claims of unlawful competition and solicitation. Jessica also represents numerous public entities and public officials in employment matters. She is a frequent speaker on employment matters and litigation avoidance.

During the COVID19 pandemic, Jessica has guided employers through the myriad federal, state and local orders regarding the legal implications associated with compliance, FFCRA, furloughs, compensation, workplace shutdowns, remote work arrangements and on-going workplace safety policies, processes and procedures for reopening workplaces.
