Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Jackson

Dev Ganguly has a diverse work experience spanning several leadership roles in the field of information technology. Dev is currently serving as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Jackson since February 2021. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing all areas of technology, including software delivery, infrastructure engineering, IT service management, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation. Dev is also a member of Jackson's Senior Leadership team and Prudential plc's Global Leadership Team.

Prior to their current role, Dev held various positions at Jackson, including Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer from July 2018 to February 2021, Deputy Chief Information Officer from January 2018 to June 2018, and Vice President & CIO of Curian Capital from October 2013 to December 2017. During their time as Vice President, they oversaw multiple IT portfolios and served as the Chief Information Officer for Curian Capital.

Before joining Jackson, Dev worked as the Director of Broker Dealer Systems and Manager of Broker Dealer Systems, wherein they led the application development team and contributed to driving the technology strategy at National Planning Holdings, one of the largest independent broker dealer networks in the U.S. Dev also held roles as the Assistant Vice President of Systems & Programming, Senior Systems Engineer/Lead Architect, and Lead Programmer at Jackson.

Outside of their work at Jackson, Dev has served as a Board Member for the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) since March 2021 and Junior Achievement of Mid Michigan since October 2021. Dev also worked as the Chief Information Officer at Curian Capital from May 2015 to February 2020.

Dev started their career as a Graduate Engineer at ITW in July 1996 and later worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at Infosys Technologies Ltd from October 1997 to March 2000.

Dev Ganguly earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Power from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology in the years 1992 to 1996.
