Dr. Angela Ellison, Ed.D., has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Dr. Angela started their career as a student teacher at Gary Road Intermediate School in 2006. From there, they became a Mathematics Instructor at Northwest Rankin Middle School in 2007 and held this role until 2013. In 2013, Dr. Ellison joined Rankin County School District as an Administrative Intern and stayed there until 2014. Dr. Angela then moved to Leake County School District and worked as a Lead Teacher & Title I from 2014 to 2015. Dr. Ellison briefly served as a Principal at North Panola School District from 2015 to 2016 and was responsible for overseeing all site operations and providing guidance to staff. Dr. Angela then joined Hinds County School District as a Secondary Mathematics Coach from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Dr. Ellison is working at Jackson Public Schools as the Secondary Mathematics Curriculum Lead.

Dr. Angela Ellison, Ed.D. has a comprehensive education history in the field of education. Dr. Angela obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The University of Southern Mississippi between 2004 and 2006. Dr. Angela'sdegree focused on various subjects including mathematics, English, science, and reading, for grades ranging from 7th to 12th as well as kindergarten.

Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Education from Mississippi College, completing it in 2009. In 2011 to 2012, Dr. Ellison furthered their education with an Education Specialist degree from the same institution, specializing in the education and teaching of the gifted and talented.

In 2013 and 2014, they attended The University of Mississippi, earning a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Pre-K through 12th grade education. To enhance their knowledge in educational leadership and administration, they completed the Principals' Summer Institute at Millsaps College.

Dr. Angela Ellison, Ed.D. has shown a dedication to continuing their education and expanding their expertise in the field of education.
