Frederick Rivers

Frederick Rivers has a range of work experience, starting with their current role as a Distance Learning Facilitator at Jackson Public Schools. In this position, they supervise students in the distance learning classroom, maintains attendance records, and provides technical support with Windows operated desktops.

Prior to this, Frederick worked as an LSMAMP Summer Bridge Counselor at Jackson State University, where they mentored high school graduates and incoming freshmen interested in pursuing careers in the STEM field. Frederick provided leadership, guidance, and support to the students, while also organizing recreational and educational activities.

Frederick also has experience as a Work Study Student at Jackson State University. In this role, they performed various office tasks such as filing, copying, and printing. Frederick also provided assistance in the campus computer lab, helping students with desktop or monitor issues. Additionally, they carried out errands assigned by their supervisor, such as delivering important documents across campus.

Frederick Rivers completed their high school education at Forest Hill High School from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Frederick then pursued higher education at Jackson State University from 2016 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Computer Technology. Additionally, in November 2021, Frederick obtained a certification in Technical Support Fundamentals from Google.
