Korian Padgett

Head Cross Country/track & Field Coach at JACKSON PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT

Korian Padgett started working as a Fitness Coordinator at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in August 2012. Then in July 2016, they worked as a Strength & Conditioning Intern at The University of Southern Mississippi until December of the same year. In February 2017, they became a Group Fitness Instructor at Salvation Army Kroc Center until July 2017. From July 2012 to August 2017, they also worked as a Substitute Teacher at Kelly Services. Korian started their role as an Assistant Track Coach at Biloxi Public Schools in an unspecified date in 2013 until July 2017. Korian joined Jackson Public Schools in August 2017 as the Head Cross Country/Track & Field Coach. Lastly, in April 2020, they started working as a Host at 4 the Health of it! LLC.

Korian Padgett's education history starts in 2007 when they attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. They then went on to The University of Southern Mississippi from 2010 to 2012, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Continuing their education, Korian Padgett pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sports and Exercise at the United States Sports Academy from 2014 to 2016.
