Malika Wilson

Malika Wilson, M.S.Ed, NCC, currently serves as a Professional School Counselor at Jackson Public Schools since August 2022, focusing on the academic, social/emotional, and career development needs of K-5th grade students. Previously, Malika worked at Tougaloo College as a Senior Counselor, conducting academic and career workshops for low-income high school students and potential first-generation college students. Malika gained foundational experience as a School Counseling Intern at Jackson Public Schools and as a Project CALIPSO Scholar at Jackson State University, where involvement included interdisciplinary collaboration with speech-language pathologists to support K-12 students with disabilities. Additional roles include serving as a substitute teacher, sales associate, and research assistant. Malika holds a Master of Science in Education in Counselor Education from Jackson State University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the same institution.
