Marquita Slater

Marquita Slater has work experience with Jackson Public Schools, where they worked as a Mathematics Instructor. Marquita later became the Director of Academies at the same company, starting in August 2014. The end dates for both roles are not provided.

Marquita Slater has a strong educational background. Marquita earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD from Jackson State University, where they attended from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Marquita Slater has received the National Career Readiness Certificate Platinum from ACT in April 2018.
