John Clark

John Clark has extensive experience in education and business management, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Lifeways of Jackson since March 2018 and as an Independent Business Owner at Marketing and Educational Services since September 2017. John has been the Dean of Students at 4th Street Learning Center, a middle school serving at-risk students, since August 2003, where responsibilities include daily administration and oversight of the school's operations. Additionally, John has experience as a Business Education Teacher, managing the Cooperative Education Program. Prior entrepreneurial endeavors include owning Downtown Golf Club from May 1993 to August 2005 and serving as President/CEO of Clark Distributing Co. from April 1987 to January 2000, where significant sales and management achievements were realized. John holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Spring Arbor University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
