Avery Horvath

Avery Horvath is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and machine learning, currently serving as a Football Data Scientist with the Jacksonville Jaguars since April 2023. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at KEF Robotics, where Avery led the development of autonomous drone navigation software and secured multiple government contracts, achieving notable success in the Lockheed Martin AIRR Alphapilot competition. Earlier experience includes positions as a Data Science Research Assistant at the Interstellar Fluids Research Lab and Robotics Engineering Intern at Astrobotic, where Avery contributed to advanced machine learning algorithms and software development for autonomous flight. Avery co-founded BridgeUNC, enhancing political discourse within the community, and held internships at Brightwind and BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, focusing on data engineering and financial research, respectively.
