Dr. Tony Cummings

Dr. Tony Cummings has extensive experience in law enforcement and education, serving with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office since 1995, where notable roles include a current candidacy for Sheriff of Jacksonville, Florida, and previous candidacies between 2012 and 2015. Dr. Cummings has held positions such as Missing Persons Detective and has managed significant resources within the Sheriff's Office. In academia, Dr. Cummings was an adjunct professor of Crime Scene Technology at Keiser University, teaching modern investigative techniques. A former Military Policeman in the US Army, Dr. Cummings holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and has multiple degrees in related fields including a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
