Paul Restivo

Paul Restivo has served with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office since 1994, currently holding the position of Police Chief with responsibilities that include overseeing the Court Services and the Pretrial Detention Facility. Previous positions encompass roles as Assistant Chief, Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant, and Police Officer/Detective, where Restivo managed various operations related to community engagement, emergency preparedness, internal affairs, and specialized patrol functions. Prior experience includes serving as District Loss Prevention Supervisor at Walmart and as a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Navy during Operations Desert Shield/Storm. Restivo holds a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Psychology from Liberty University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia.
