Emre Selvi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Emre has held various teaching and research positions as well as engineering roles. Emre started as a Mechanical Engineer at Aselsan in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Emre then joined Texas Tech University where they served as a Research/Teaching Assistant and later as a Post Doctoral Research Associate. In 2009, Emre moved to Muskingum University as an Assistant Professor until 2015. During this time, they also had short-term visiting lecturer positions at TOBB ETU in 2014 and 2015. Currently, Emre is working at Jacksonville University as an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, the Director of School of Engineering and Technology, and as the Engineering Program Coordinator.
Emre Selvi completed their education in Mechanical Engineering. Emre obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University in 1999. Emre then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the same field from the same university between 2000 and 2003. Emre further advanced their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University from 2004 to 2007.
