Michael Lieberman

Michael Lieberman is an aspiring film production professional with extensive experience in various capacities within the film and media industry. Currently serving as House Staff at Jacob Burns Film Center, Michael ensures patron safety and oversees team operations as a Shift Leader. As a Screentime Columnist for The Daily Orange, Michael contributes weekly commentary on cinema and film festival recaps. Previously, internships at Steiner Studios, American High, and the Syracuse International Film Festival, Inc. provided Michael with valuable insights into film production, script development, and programming. A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from Syracuse University, complemented by studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, enhances Michael’s academic credentials.
