Buddhika Gunasekara

Buddhika Gunasekara currently serves as General Manager at Jacobi Group, a position held since November 2007, where significant projects include the implementation of multiple kiln upgrades, plant power system enhancements, and infrastructure improvements. Previously, Buddhika worked as Manager of Activation Kilns, overseeing production-related activities and successfully implementing ISO 9001:2008 quality standards and 5S systems. Starting as a Process Engineer in 2007, Buddhika quickly progressed to Senior Process Engineer, focusing on product yield optimization and the establishment of R&D products into production. Early career experience includes a role as Process Engineering Trainee at Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd., with exposure to CO2 production concepts and water treatment processes. Buddhika holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and an MBA from the University of Kelaniya. Early education was completed at Royal College in Colombo, specializing in Mathematics.
