Christopher Beath

Christopher Beath has extensive experience in the coffee and tea industry. Christopher is currently working at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, where they have held various roles since 2018. Christopher'scurrent position is Global Coffee & Tea Sourcing Director, which they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Global Commodity Sourcing Director from April 2019 to March 2020, the Director Green Coffee Operations from November 2018 to March 2019, and the C&T Procurement Director from March 2018 to October 2018.

Before joining JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, Christopher worked at The Kraft Heinz Company from 2013 to 2018. Christopher held the position of Vice President, Head of BU Procurement from January 2017 to February 2018. Christopher also served as the Senior Director of Procurement, Green Coffee and Commodities from August 2015 to January 2017, and as the Senior Director of Green Coffee Procurement from April 2013 to July 2015.

Christopher's career in the coffee industry began at Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee in 1997. Christopher held several roles during their tenure, including Category Business Director - Coffee from January 2012 to March 2013, Director of Commodities Operations from January 2007 to December 2011, Manager of Commodities - Coffee from January 2001 to December 2006, and Commodities Specialist from June 1997 to December 2000.

Christopher Beath attended the University of Guelph from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree with a focus on Marketing. In 2016, they furthered their education by completing the CORe program at Harvard Business School Online, and in 2018, they completed a program in Sustainable Business Strategy. Additionally, in 1995, they briefly studied International Business at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
