Andrew Bursey

Andrew Bursey is a seasoned professional in the tunneling and geotechnical engineering fields, currently serving as Global Principal and Sr. Tunnel Engineer and Project Manager at Jacobs since April 2007. Prior experience includes roles as Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, Project Engineer, and Project Manager at Bradshaw Construction Corporation, Project Engineer and Tunnel Shift Engineer at McNally Construction Inc., and Geotechnical EIT at Klohn Crippen Berger. Andrew's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering (Geotechnical) from Queen's University, alongside ongoing post-degree studies in Structural Engineering at Kennesaw State University. Notably, Andrew has co-authored engineering manuals utilized by organizations such as the US Army Corps of Engineers and NAVFAC.
